ICT Systems Engineer based in Corsham
Salary £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (dependant on experience) plus company benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage, monitor and maintain all installed systems and infrastructure.
* Test and install Software, COTS and Firmware patches using remote deployment software e.g., WSUS.
* Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
* Compliance with version control procedures in order to deploy system changes. Produce and update documentation that can vary from high-level check lists to in-depth technical build and install instructions.
* Attend and contribute to meetings that approve system changes to operational and development platforms.
* Troubleshoot and resolve reported helpdesk issues, including the reporting and rectification of VMware errors.
Essential Experience:
* A proven background (5-10 years’ experience) in administering VMware and Horizon.
* A good knowledge and experience of installing and configuring Microsoft and VMware ESXi operating systems and infrastructure.
* A good knowledge of Software, COTS and Firmware patch deployments using remote deployment software tools (e.g., WSUS).
Desired Experience/Qualifications:
* Hold a current VCP.
* An understanding of HPE Enterprise servers including SimpliVity.
* An understanding of Linux (RedHat).
* An understanding of SQL Server.
Personal Competencies:
* Willing to work as part of an integrated multi-technology team.
* Appreciation, acceptance and adherence to the constraints of working on highly classified defence platforms.
* The role is based in Wiltshire, but may involve occasional travel both within and outside of UK
* Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Developed Vetting security clearance as part of this role.The role is open to sole UK Nationals only.
