INishative consulting have a great opportunity for a HR Advisor seeking a new challenge, my clients Company is an out sourcing organisation with over 2000 staff they expanding their HR team.

Job Summary for HR Advisor

To support the aims and objectives of the organisation by delivering a high-quality HR service to all internal clients. Acting as the primary contact for employee matters, ensuring they are dealt with efficiently.

Key Responsibilities for HR Advisor

The main focus of this role is to provide a wide range of HR support and guidance to line managers of varying levels across a busy contact centre environment. The key responsibilities are as follows:

* To champion our values of Trust, Courtesy and Communication across all levels and contacts both internal and external.

* To advise line management on a day-to-day basis regarding Company procedures and legislative requirements, which include:

– Supporting all matters relating to HR including terms and conditions, all absence related matters and flexible working requests

– Support informal and formal disciplinary and grievance matters by providing advice and support within the scope of the polices and producing all relevant correspondence

– Supporting the management of short-term persistent absence and proactively supporting the management of long-term absence, with the objective to reduce both short-term and long-term absence

– Support all aspects of employee performance management by providing advice and support within the scope of the policy and offer guidance with the preparation of performance improvement plans

– Support with communicating maternity and paternity policy and procedures to employees, assisting with queries and ensuring all relevant paperwork is produced

– Monitor and check for regular completion of welcome back, probation and one to meetings, to ensure they are being carried out as required and in line with the company policy and procedures

* To support any recruitment and selection requirements as needed for the HR or recruitment department, ensuring advice and support is carried out in accordance with Company policy and legislative requirements.

* To create and provide management information, relating to the HR function, accurately and within agreed timescales, including any ad-hoc MI requests

* To assist with the development and communication of HR policy and procedures in accordance with best practice and operational requirements.

* Create and deliver training of HR policy and procedures

* Utilise any company and HR systems. Uploading and storing of documentation as required

* To act as a role model in all activity and communication and drive employee engagement through a collaborative and empowering management approach, ensuring that the team understand the impact of their actions on the wider business.

* To develop, identify, grow and maintain talent by embedding a high-performance culture, providing regular feedback and coaching and ensuring strong succession plans are in place.

* To pay a full and constructive role in taking responsibility for own self development

* Undertake ad-hoc project work when required

* To promote a positive and professional image of the Company to clients and others at all times by adhering to Company Values, policies and procedures

* Any other duties as reasonably

Person Specification

* The ideal candidate will be at least Level 3 CIPD qualified

* General HR experience within an HR environment

* Good Knowledge of employment law

* Experience of managing a high employee relations caseload

* Ability to demonstrate confidentiality and sensitivity in dealing with all issues of business

* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to organise and maintain accurate and up to date records

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure

* A confident communicator (both written and verbal) with a personable and professional manner and the ability to interact at all levels and build strong working relationships

* Exceptional planning and organisational skills and good time management

* Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and respond to different demands

* Experience of working with advising line managers

* Knowledge and understanding of a Contact Centre outsourcing
