An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and hands-on individual to join us in the capacity of HR Administrator to cover a period of maternity leave for 12 months. The purpose of this role is to provide a professional and proactive level of administrative support to support with all areas of the HR cycle such as but not limited to resourcing, employee relations, absence management, learning & development, performance management, reward & benefits and HR reporting.

Responsibilities Include:

* Maintaining and updating the internal HR databases; enter, upload, cleanse and remove data and documentation in accordance with GDPR guidelines

* Develop effective working relationships with stakeholders and employees to enable the delivery of a first class HR service. Respond to basic HR related queries and provide data/information where required.

* Follow the New Starter Checklist in order to support with the induction and onboarding of new hires

* Take ownership of contractual changes and the end-to-end leaver process

* Maintaining key HR metrics such as but not limited to sickness absence, lateness, turnover and exit interview feedback

* Scanning and electronic filing of personnel documentation in accordance with GDPR guidelines. Carry out personnel audits and archiving of data as and when required

* Support with recruitment practices by supporting with the advertising of vacancies, carrying out screening telephone conversations and arranging interviews

* Support with the delivery of the training strategy by assisting with course bookings, collating of training information and feedback.

* Produce various HR related letters and documents as and when required

* Contribute towards HR related initiatives and projects.

Our perfect HR Administrator would have:

* Hands-on administrative experience, ideally with an exposure to HR

* Active listening skills; contributes towards the team effort

* Maintains confidentiality and professionalism at all times

* A positive mind-set towards approaching challenges

* A well organised and efficient approach with the ability to challenge the norm and suggest ideas for improvement

* The ability to to provide a pragmatic and responsive service

* Experience with MS Office packages and exposure to HRIS software

* The ability to operate and thrive within a fast paced environment whilst working well under pressure; prioritises effectively to meet deadlines

* A strong level of conversational and written English

Qualifications

CIPD Level 3 (desirable) or an NVQ in Business Administration (desirable)

The hours you would work

Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-4.15pm. Friday, 7.30am-12.30pm
