Health & Safety Quality Manager

Salary : £29750 – £30500/annum
Our client, a national engineering business based in the Havant area, is now looking to recruit a Health, Safety & Quality Manager to join their team
As QHS Manager you would report to the Managing Director and typical responsibilities will be:
– Maintain BS EN ISO 9001:2015
– To carry out regular periodic audits of operational practice
– To arrange/carry out and lead HSE inspections, sampling, monitoring/tests in order to assess compliance and non-conformances and establish trend data performance
– To lead or assist with risk assessments, accident and incident investigations identifying hazards and unsafe practices
– To deliver in-house health and safety training and to educate correct personnel in best practices and requirements
– To act as the "Responsible Person" to ensure all legal requirements set out are understood and complied with
– To maintain all necessary recording and reporting documents
– To organise statuary and safety training so that arrangements are in place and agreed, to ensure that scheduled attendances occur
– To carry out regular audits, inspections, tests and assessments as required
The successful candidate will have:
1. IOSH and/or NEBOSH certification
2. CSCS card, Gas Safe registered (Gas Engine) 17th Edition PASMA low level access
3. Experience in the safety in the installation and use of gas systems and appliances
4. Evidence of relevant continuing professional development
5. Experience working in a Health and Safety, QA and Environmental related functions at Management Level
7. Demonstrable track record in leading and delivering projects, objectives and services within deadlines and to agreed targets/performance indicators
