What you'll be doing:

As the Head of operations, it will be your duty, to develop and lead a team of in site managers to provide exceptional service to our clients. Manage client relationships in a commercial manner ensuring compliance and company policies are adhered to. Drive foodservice and support service solutions that exceed new and existing customer requirements

Review business performance and ensure delivery of key financial targets in line with management and performance reporting. Demonstrate commercial value to your direct reports, line manager, and Leadership teams, in line with the One Compass vision, values, and overall business strategy

More about the role:
Plan and implement the strategy of growth and retention of new and existing business in each sector through leading the development of long-term account plans, including a rolling lifecycle review process
Support the sales team to develop financially sound bids and proposals and sign off final agreements to ensure we deliver operationally sound contracts
Development of strategic client relationships
Deliver the profit for the region through leading the Unit Managers in delivery of their financial targets
Review unit and contract performance, identify improvements, and ensure contract compliance to exceed client expectations
Identify the different customer requirements through analysing trends in their feedback and select the appropriate company offering to deliver customer satisfaction
Communicate strategy to team and ensure that improvements are implemented to maximise performance and customer satisfaction
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Provide operational insight alongside strategic marketing plans to grow sales and deliver customer satisfaction
Align to all central functions to enhance existing service offers, drive service initiatives
Review, implement, and action client and customer survey
Ensure standard menus in place are in line with financial budget
Ensure purchasing complies with Compass Group UK & Ireland policies
Ensure waste control measures are in place
Ensure high quality food offers
Ensure team are coached, developed and supported to achieve targets
Lead the overall day to day operational function
Head up match day operation for both corporate hospitality and public retail function

Essential:
A minimum of 2 years in a Managementrole with P&L accountability in high-volumequality food service and/or conference and event catering
Able todemonstrate the development of financial controls, forecasting and commercialmodelling
Experience inleadinga team of no less than 8 delivering great food and a superior customer experience
Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholderseffectively.
Strong IT Skills
Sound knowledge and ability to manage all aspects of Health, Safety, and Food Safety in a foodservice environment
Must possess strong commercial acumen & have outstanding skills to increase sales & profitability within all areas of the business
Able to motivate and inspire people at all levels
Fully flexible and willing to adapt to ever-changing environments Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Hospitalityor managementrelated discipline
Experience of working in environments involving high levels of customer care
Experience of working collaboratively with a client and experience of managing and delivering all contractual terms
Quick service restaurant management or coffee shop management experience.
Experience with managing multiple operations and/or multiple service streams What we'll give:
