Are you in looking for new a exciting opportunity within global sales, particularly in a renowned trade publishing division? Our client is currently looking for a proactive Head of International Sales, tasked with the mission to propel growth and cultivate alliances across specified regions, with a keen emphasis on the Indian market.

In this pivotal role within the International Sales team, you will lead in advancing the visibility and distribution of a diverse array of publications, encompassing both Adult and Special Interest genres, in close collaboration with our clients agency partners. Your strategic foresight will pave the way for new streams of revenue and broader market reach, all the while ensuring the seamless attainment of sales objectives and alignment with divisional strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Foster strong relationships with stakeholders globally, particularly in India, to boost sales and expand market presence.
Lead digital sales projects in coordination with the UK e-book and audio team, utilising analytical skills to enhance performance and increase revenue.
Introduce innovative processes to improve sales productivity, contributing significantly to budgeting, forecasting, and acquisitions.
Utilise negotiation and presentation abilities to secure partnerships with authors, agents, and influencers, advancing publishing goals.
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, where adaptability and creativity are fundamental to achieving success.

Our client is seeking an exceptional candidate with extensive experience in international trade book sales, particularly within the Indian market. As a proficient negotiator and presenter, you will excel in utilising numerical data for informed decision-making. Your mastery of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is key and your interpersonal skills distinguish you as a collaborative leader.
