Head Chef – Cambridge City Centre
£35k – Monday to Friday – No Evenings
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join their team and lead their catering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
* Develop and execute innovative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and cater to diverse tastes.
* Ensure the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
* Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or a Head Chef in a high-volume establishment.
* Catering qualification or equivalent certification.
* Experience managing a multi outlet unit.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
* Creative flair and a passion for culinary excellence.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

* This role is predominantely Monday to Friday, with the very occasional evening/Saturday if they have an event scheduled.
