Harvest Operatives

Salary :
We are currently recruiting for x3 Harvest Operatives to join a UK leading Agricultural business. You will working within the harvest area, these roles are based outside in the growing fields and will across the different product ranges the business grows. Therefore you must be happy to work outdoors across all seasons as this is a very hands on role and involves heavy, repetitive lifting.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Thetford, Norfolk
Hours: 40 hours a week across 7 days a week however must be flexible to suit business needs with overtime paid at x1.5
Salary: £negotiable depending on experience

PLEASE NOTE DUE TO LOCATION YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE!
Duties:
* Laying various materials to ensure that products can grow correctly
* Sowing seeds and installing and laying irrigation and watering equipment
* Applying Fertilizer to products
* Ensure crops and fields are kept tidy from weeds
* Strimming, spraying and mowing
* Cutting required crops for customers orders
* Wrapping and loading products onto pallets
* Maintaining various machinery
* Ensuring paperwork is kept updated
* Carrying out forklift truck driving and tractor driving
Skills and Experience Required:
* Flexible to meet business needs
* Hardworking and positive attitude
* Previous experience within the Agriculture / Horticulture industry would be a benefit
* Must be physically fit
* Happy to work outdoors throughout all seasons
* Driving Licence
* Forklift truck Licence would be a benefit
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication skills
