7.15am to 5pm in the summer and 7.45am to 4.30pm in the winter

As leading providers of Grounds Maintenance services with their heart and base in North Wales, Our client are now recruiting for Grounds Operatives to join their team.
They are looking for reliable candidates who want to work hard and grow along with us, and we will offer the right mentorship and training for you to achieve this.
The successful candidate will maintain grounds to a good horticultural practice, meeting the programme of works and with due regard to Health and Safety and customer satisfaction.
You will use the full range of grounds maintenance equipment, including the latest battery powered equipment, and they will train you on any equipment you may not have used before through their Mentorship and Training Scheme.

Tailored and certificated training programme with annual skills checkYou will carry out the full range of horticultural and maintenance tasks required within the contract including, but not exclusively:
Herbaceous borders, shrub and flower borders.
Grass Cutting
Shrub and Hedge Pruning
Sweeping, Litter Picking, Leaf collection
Application of pesticides (PA1 PA6 training available)
Assist in soft/hard landscape work.
The role requires:
Working knowledge of the above grounds maintenance tasks
The ability to drive and operate a range of plant and machinery
A good working knowledge of Health and Safety
A positive and proactive attitude to customer service
A flexible and reliable approach to the working day
Strong teamwork skills
Essential
Full current driving license
Desirable:
PA1 & PA6 Spraying certificate
Experience of working within a ground's maintenance contract would be an advantage.
Able to carry and operate some reasonably heavy hand-held machinery and operate ride on mowers.
Having a methodical approach to work, being a Team player who supports colleagues.
