The Role – Grounds Maintenance Operative
Pinnacle Group are looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative who will visit various developments and will be responsible for all aspects of practical amenity horticulture to the highest standards. The sites will need to be visited on weekly/fortnightly basis with schedules set in place for ease of working and getting around to each development in a timely manner.
Duties/Key Responsibilities
* Horticultural grounds maintenance tasks at the contracted sites.
* Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment.
* General maintenance of grounds e.g. Grass cutting, clearing of leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming
* Chemical and hand-weed control
* Ensuring that all visited locations are left in a clean and tidy state
* Maintenance of records relating to tasks performed, timesheets, materials, vehicles and equipment.
* Reporting any damage or vandalism to Pinnacle-PSG premises or property to the Grounds Manager.
* Maintenance of vehicles and machinery and reporting vehicle defects.
* Use of appropriate tools and equipment including the operation of powered hand tools, minor plant and machinery.

* Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures
* Maintenance tasks at the contracted sites as directed by the Grounds Team Leader/Service Delivery Manager.
