About your new company:
A successful organisation based across the south & east coast is seeking an experienced Goods Inwards & Stores Person to join an existing team at their branch based near Uckfield
Reporting directly to the Parts Manager you will be responsible with the organising and control of the goods inward area by distributing goods to other branches, but also dealing with customers behind the retail counter.
About your new Goods In & Stores Person role:
Unpacking of stock
Develop relationships with new customers that approach the retail counter looking to buy product
Handling of Cash & Card Payments
You may also be required to assist in the Parts department during quitter periods.
Transfer stock between different branches
What you’ll need to succeed:
Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with the public
Familiarity working within a retail or showroom environment
Able to use own initiative
Attention to detail with numbers and handling of cash and card payments
Previous experience in a similar role within the Horticultural / Agricultural sales environment is highly desirable.
