Hours:
November to July – Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
August to October – Monday to Friday 6.30am – 7.30pm (hours outside of 8am – 5pm will be paid at x1.5)

Role Summary:
As a General Operative, you will play a crucial role in the cleaning and grading process of their products.
Benefits:

Generally closed for bank holidays but if required to work a day in lieu will be given

Free parking onsiteKey responsibilities within your new role would be to:
Assisting in the plant to clean and treat products.
Load unfinished materials into the machines.
Preparing bulk bags for loading.
Bagging, labelling and handling treated products.
Blending, mixing and bagging products from 1kg up to 25kg.
General cleaning of the plant and machinery.
Fault finding and fixing of machinery where possible.
Helping maintain stock management.
Assisting in deliveries if required.
Using a forklift to move products around the site.
General yard duties, including tipping bulk lorries and loading curtain siders.Experience and skills required for this position:
A full UK driving licence.
Be motivated and enthusiastic
Be able to work on your feet all day, lifting heavy products.
Have the ability to work with others, and independently without supervision.
Workshop/Mechanical/Engineering skills or experience, desirable
Hold a forklift / telehandler licence, desirable
PA1/PA11, desirable
Some knowledge of the agricultural industry, desirable
