Our client in Welwyn Garden City is seeking dedicated individuals to fill Gardener positions. If you have a green thumb and a love for maintaining public spaces, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Maintain the beauty of public spaces through tasks such as trimming bushes, cutting
grass, hedge trimming, bush trimming, shrub pruning, flower and shrub planting, and
associated gardening duties.
Work within lush green areas, contributing to their upkeep and appearance.
Ensure that outdoor spaces remain welcoming and visually appealing to the community.
Requirements:
While previous experience in a similar role is preferred, it's not essential – we value a
keen interest in gardening and a willingness to learn.
Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves lifting, bending, kneeling, and occasional
heavy lifting.
Adaptability is key – our gardeners work in all weather conditions to maintain the beauty
of the outdoor spaces.
Approach your work with flexibility and a positive attitude towards various tasks.
Essential Qualifications:
Possession of a category B driver's license with no more than 6 penalty points is required,
as driving small vehicles like sweepers and mowers is part of the role.
Working Details:
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Pay Rate: £11.60 per hour
