Leading Environmental Consultancy are actively looking for a Forestry Consultant or Arboricultural Consultant from the forestry industry to join the team and provide forestry technical appendices and forestry chapters for EIA related projects (windfarms) across their selected region – North West, North or Scotland
Established over 35 years ago, our client has grown rapidly over the last 2 years and this continues with acquisitions of other clients across the UK and a number of key projects across the public and private sector (commercial mainly). They are recognised in the Sunday times 250 and truly are a great company to work for.
Key duties of the Forestry Consultant or Arboricultural Consultant will include:
Site assessments for afforested areas for windfarm development .
Provide expert advice and support for other divisions of the business including EIA, planning and Land Acquisition.
The preparation of woodland management plans.
Actively leading farm and estate woodlands
To apply you are expected to come from the following background:
Hold a relevant forestry qualification and ideally be a member of the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF) or be working towards it.
A minimum of 5 years experience
