Salary £18,000 – £22,000 (this is a full time position, Monday to Friday)
My client is an established IFA, and they now have an exciting opportunity for IFA Administrator to join their friendly team based in Leicestershire. The role will involve all aspects of financial services administration, with emphasis on LOA processing and liaising with Advisers at every stage of the process. Experience in financial services is preferred but not essential, along with enthusiasm and commitment in delivering a first-class service, to both clients and colleagues, being paramount.
IFA Administrator – Duties:
* LOA (Letters of Authority) administration and process
* Process new business applications
* Preparing appointment packs
* Valuations
* Photocopying
* Letter writing
* Liaising with Providers by email and telephone
* General administrative duties
* Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes, as required
* Ensure all dealings with clients are carried out in a professional and courteous manner
* Follow appropriate ethical standards within the company at all times and adhere to FSA Regulatory guidelines
IFA Administrator – Ideal skills and experience:
* Someone who has worked in a financial services organisation who understands regulations/compliance, or equally an experienced administrator from another professional industry
* A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with the ability to get to grips with, what might be an unfamiliar software package, e.g., our back-office system (Iress Adviser Office)
* Excellent customer facing interactions, good administration skills/phone manner and IT skills
* Well-presented
* Self-motivated and organised, with a good work ethic
* Will take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and can achieve results with minimal supervision
* Able to stay focused on tasks, despite distractions and interruptions
* Be an integral part of the team – a good communicator, willing to input new ideas and suggestions to improve process
* Flexible in their approach to work and processes. The right candidate should be able to adapt/evolve as working practices change
