Our super client based in Huntingdon is seeking a Part Time Finance Assistant to work two days per week (15 hours in total) on a hybrid working basis once settled in to the role. You will need to have some flexibility on your working days based on differing times of the month and reporting periods.
As Finance Assistant with our client, you will be responsible for overseeing Indirect Tax reporting. You will liaise with a third party organisation that that files the company's VAT and GST returns and will submit accurate information for the returns to be filed, monitoring and ensuring indirect tax returns (including deferred VAT and import) are filed on a timely basis.
To be considered for the role of Finance Assistant you will experienced in Indirect Tax payments, aware of customs practices and VAT accounting, you will have previously worked for a multi-national multi-currency organisation, will have an intermediate experience of using Excel, to run reports and will be required to have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of attention to detail and numeracy.
In return our client is offering a salary range of £24,000 – £32,000 pro rata depending on level of experience, company pension, free parking, gym membership, life assurance, hybrid working, health & well-being programme.
