About the Role:
We are looking for self-motivated, ambitious individuals with extensive background of electrical control panel design. Duties will be varied and will include: Working with Bills of Materials, mounting of control panel components in accordance with layout drawings, component rail assembly and marking terminal rails. You will then be required to wire the assembled back plates to a set of schematic wiring diagrams following any job-specific specifications to the exact detail.
Main Duties:
· Proven track record in the Electrical Control Panel Automation Sector
· Understanding of Control Panels and how they are built
· Possess an Electrical and Mechanical aptitude, ability to interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic drawings
· Basic understanding of PLC based systems
· Understanding of Motor Control Centre and Switchboard IEC Standards
· Understanding of Control Panel IEC standards
· Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
· Highly organised and self-motivated
· Excellent attention to detail whilst able to grasp the bigger picture
· Advanced level of using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio and Access)
· Able to use own initiative and work without supervision
· Flexibility to undertake ad-hoc UK & European travel as required
· Ability to travel with full driving license
