Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies (CICT) is a forward thinking centre of learning. CICT is part of the Confetti Media Group, which is owned by Nottingham Trent University increasing the opportunities for growth and success over the coming years.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events and Hospitality Manager to join our London estate. The Events and Hospitality Manager will be responsible for planning and executing events and activities on the Confetti London campus, managing staff and equipment. This includes managing the hospitality team, managing the event space, and ensuring the compliance with all health and safety regulations.

The Events and Hospitality Manager will also be responsible for managing budgets, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and working closely with other departments on campus to ensure the best possible experience for students, staff and visitors.

In this role you will:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, providing information about services and pricing, and ensuring that all client needs are met to the highest standards of customer service;

Propose new products and services in order to drive revenue;

*

Work with the Campus Manager to develop a pricing and yield management strategy;

*

Liaise with marketing team to develop a bespoke and relevant suite of sales promotion and advertising material;

*

Develop, embed and roll out a robust customer relationship management system;

*

Lead the planning and delivery of all events and meetings;

*

Actively promote meeting and events spaces to external businesses;

*

Work closely with student organisations and societies to ensure that their needs are met

Knowledge, qualifications and experience:

*

Extensive expertise in yield management strategies and tactics;

*

First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain one);

*

Hold a valid personal licence to sell alcohol (or willing to obtain one);

*

Relevant events management experience (e.g. corporate meetings, parties, networking events);

*

Experience of working with back office systems and running regular reports;

*

High level of financial literacy;

*

Able to work unsociable hours, including late nights and weekends;

*

Experience of working in a B2B and B2C environment (desirable);

*

Experience of working in an educational setting (desirable);
