G’s Fresh is looking for an Ethics Compliance Officer to support the delivery of its new Ethics and Human Rights strategy. The candidate will be based in its head office in Barway, Cambridgeshire.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities

Support the Group Ethics Team to effectively manage the human rights due diligence agenda. The scope of this agenda includes, among other topics:

Conducting internal and external audits.

Carry out human rights risk assessments and benchmarks.

Manage the company´s external audit regime.

Undertake engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders. 

Work with all stakeholders, i.e., G’s businesses, suppliers, management teams, labour providers, etc. to resolve ethical and human rights issues. Undertake thorough investigations on modern slavery and labour exploitation issues when required.

Develop, deliver, and review capacity building training (including supporting materials) for relevant ethical and human rights issues.

Developing and managing human rights due diligence for external suppliers.

Measure human rights performance, develop KPIs and reporting tools for all G’s.

Candidate Requirements

Experience in Ethical Trading and Human Rights issues.

Experience in social auditing (SMETA, GRASP, etc.).

Experience in supply ethical supply chains.

Demonstrable knowledge of the UK employment law, Modern Slavery Act, and industry standards such as ETI.

Data analysis and visualisation skills.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Good English speaking and writing skills.

High integrity.

Organised and detail-orientated person.

Hours of work

40 hours per week Monday to Friday
