Salary : £12.50 – £13.46/hour
District Technician

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight
Hours: 40 hours per week
Days: Monday – Friday
Duration: Temporary ongoing ( may be temp to perm for the right candidate)
Duties:
Providing administrative support to the Assistant Network Manager and team of District Stewards including:
Assist with planning and coordination of the resources
Develop and maintain documentation including procedural guides, process flow charts, letters, templates and other material as required
Assist with Project Network / asset queries
Monitor the delivery of highway safety inspections and condition surveys
Responsible for Local Land Registry Searches
Responsible for secondary auditing of Highway Safety Inspections
To provide cover for absent colleagues and undertake any task considered commensurate with the responsibilities of the role and requirements of the business
Experience:
Must have strong administrative and coordination skills with excellent communication and the ability to prioritise and effectively organise workload.
Must have a good level of accuracy and attention to detail, be able to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Previous experience or knowledge of Highway Services is an advantage.
Must have a full driver’s licence and be happy to work outdoors on occasion as will be required to visit sites.
Salary: 12.50 – 13.46 per hour dependent upon experience
