Deli Assistant

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Deli Assistant based in Dublin 3. The successful candidate will earn up to €13 per hour.

Role Requirements

Previous Experience: Training will be provided but the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year catering experience or held a similar role in food preparation/food retail.
You will understand the proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards required during food preparation, service and clean up.
Role Responsibilities

Deliver a high standard of customer service when dealing with customers
Prepare fresh food in a timely manner to successfully complete customers’ orders for takeaway e.g. freshly made-to-order sandwiches, salads, paninis, soups etc
Welcoming, serving and helping customers with their orders.
Check/Monitor products in sandwich counter and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
Operate Deli till and coffee machine (training will be provided).
Check/receive deliveries.
Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedule.
Ensure food storage and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards.
Follow security and safety procedures for both staff and customers.
Maintains a high level of professional appearance and grooming standards.
The role is physical and requires bending, standing, and walking for the entire workday.
