The role:
* Deburr and part mark precision machined aerospace finished parts
* Finishing of high integrity aircraft components
* Work to tight tolerances
* Wash components and pass to final inspection
* Ability to read an interpret technical drawings
* Identify and flag non-conformances
The ideal Deburrer will have experience:
* In working in the aerospace environment or equivalent industry
* Able to use –
* tumble deburr machinery
* pneumatic handheld deburring equipment
* deburring tools
* pillar drills
* drilling fixtures
* In using measuring equipment such as Vernier, micrometre plug gauges and screw plug gauges
* Awareness of Health and Safety requirements and knowledge of 5s
* Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship served or equivalent
This role will suit an experienced Deburrer who has worked with aerospace components and soft alloys in a machine shop environment. This person must have a good eye for detail, be dexterous and will consistently deliver results with quality.
