Pay and Benefits:
A competitive hourly pay rate depending on experience.
Excellent 3 bedroom house available with central heating, double glazing, wood burning stove, garage and garden close to local school.
Excellent overtime rates of pay, paid on hours worked over 39 per week.

600 Pedigree herd of cows. The farm covers 1,000 acres in Scotland rearing all replacement heifers. Also grows winter wheat, barley and grass – all fed back to the herd.
The Job Role Details:
An excellent job opportunity is now available for a Dairyperson in Dumfriesshire, Scotland.
You will be responsible for looking after 600 Pedigree high yielding cows.
The farm covers 1,000 acres in Scotland rearing all replacement heifers and growing winter wheat, barley and grass – all fed back to the herd.
The cows come first on the farm, and you will work closely with the rest of the team and the Farm Manager focusing on cow health, calf health, husbandry and milk quality.

Milk the herd of 600 cows, 3 times per day – alongside the dairy team.
Foot trimming and AI – training can be provided in these.
Providing stockmanship.
Looking after the cows.

Experience working on a dairy farm, milking and / or treating calves.
