JT Recruit are looking to appoint an experienced Countryside Warden on a short term temporary contract to support the Countryside team based at Elvaston Castle Country Park.
If you are qualified or have the relevant experience relating to countryside sites and facilities, then get in touch.
Details of the tasks covered in the role:
Site patrols
Safety checks
Litter picking
Emptying bins
Advising the public
Mobility scooter hires
Checking car park machines
Supporting the shop staff with deliveries, restock etc
Fencing and other maintenance work
Working with volunteers
Responding to public reports eg anti-social behaviour, injured wildlife etc
Opening up and end of day lock up
Hours of work are based on a two week rota covering alternate weekends with Fridays off – four days on, three days off, six days on, one day off
