Here at Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a school Cook to work for a busy secondary School on a basis with our clients in Wolverhampton.
Start date: 08 January
School Hours: Monday- Friday 7am-3pm
Enhanced DBS needed
The role will involve working as part of the catering as a School Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing well-balanced and appetizing meals to our students, contributing to their overall well-being and academic success.
Cook Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality meals for students and staff, adhering to the school's culinary standards.
Plan and execute daily menus, considering nutritional balance, dietary restrictions, and special requests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Supervise kitchen staff and work collaboratively to ensure efficient operations.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
Adapt menus to accommodate dietary needs and preferences.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and waste reduction.
Ensure kitchen equipment is well-maintained and report any maintenance issues.
Maintain accurate records of food preparation and kitchen procedures.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
