Objectives of the Role:

As a Content Manager, you will work as an integral member of the SEO team helping to develop content strategies for a range of clients designed to meet their objectives around traffic, engagement, coverage and links

Work with the SEO team to develop content strategies for a range of clients designed to meet their objectives around traffic, engagement, coverage and links.
Run ideation & content sessions with the content, SEO & digital PR teams to generate ideas with solid hooks/angles for press – as well as ensuring ideas are feasible, within budget and brand safe.
Develop content calendars and plan distribution with the digital PR team.
Manage the production and final checks of content from the team.
Review & optimise processes within the content team to ensure the team is working efficiently.
Work with your team to improve processes and documentation where possible, ensuring work is always focused on the right tasks at the right time.
Use your experience to ensure team members are supported within their roles.
Acting as a mentor to team members and ensure any training needs are recorded and met
Stay up to date with any industry changes and lead knowledge sharing sessions within your teamWhat You Will Need as a Content Manager:

Excellent working knowledge of SEO including elements of technical SEO, on page optimisation and link building/analysis.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with both clients and internal stakeholders as well as mentor and support staff.
Ability to brief other teams effectively, primarily digital PR & any external providers.Diligence in meeting agreed timescales & providing approved deliverables.

A desire and willingness to get the job done to the highest levels.
Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks based on client demands.What Next?
