An exciting position has become available for a full-time Commercial Account Handler based in Yate.
The role will be suitable for someone looking to take an active role in the growth of the commercial account within a very busy office.
Hours of work will be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
The Commercial Account Handler Requirements
• The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in a Commercial Insurance Broking background
• Knowledge of the Open GI Insurance System an advantage but not essential as training will be provided for the right applicant.
• A desire to develop the role and bring an innovative mind to complement the existing team.
• The successful candidate will have knowledge of Small to Medium Size Commercial Insurance Risks e.g.:
o Public Liability for Small and Medium-Size Firms
o Professional Indemnity
o Residential Property Owner
o Commercial Property Owner
o Commercial Combined
o Package Policies (incorporating Liability, Contents, Business Interruption, Glass,
o Money cover)
o Contractors All Risks
o Fleet Insurance
Commercial Account Handler Role Responsibilities
• Dealing with new business and adjustment enquiries.
• The candidate will think outside the box and find new ways in which to grow the commercial account and/or improve the efficiency of the company. A desire to develop the role and bring an innovative mind to complement the existing team would be a distinct advantage. The company has multiple resources to hand including staff experienced in marketing, graphic design and tech/IT that will be there to support and work with the candidate.
