CNC Turner

Salary : £30000 – £33000/annum Dependant on Experience
Compass Resourcing are recruiting for a forward thinking and innovative sub-contract machine shop who have an outstanding opportunity available for a CNC Turner to start asap.
Required is an experienced CNC Machinist, able to program, set and operate their machines in what is a reasonably fast paced environment.
You will work from detailed engineering drawings to program machines for what are usually very low volume batch runs. You’ll need to be flexible and adaptable to be able to interpret technical drawings, using your engineering knowledge to adapt to different components, products to be engineered.
Controls used are mainly Siemens (Mori-Seki machine), though engineers who program on other applications are also encouraged to apply. The skill and quality of existing employees make this a great place to learn and further develop your skills.

The business has a list of high profile, blue chip clients they do work for, and no two days are the same with the wide variety of components they manufacture.
This is a days based role, with a fair degree of flexibility around hours. Start times can be at 6am, 7am, or 8am depending what works best for you…you’ll do a 40 hour week, finish at 2pm on Fridays, though there is overtime available.
This is a permanent full time job with good rates of pay and overtime availability on offer.
