CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £13 – £15/hour

THE ROLE
We are looking for a Time Served or apprentice trained CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator (small batch work) to work in a large engineering workshop in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
Requirements :
Time served and / or qualification in an engineering discipline
Experience of working on vertical and / or horizontal milling machines
Able to program / set and operate to customer drawings
Able to maintain quality and inspect own work using shop floor gauges
Experience of working with both small batch and quantities in a sub con environment
Experience of working with a wide variety of materials
Experience of tooling and tool selection
Ideally:
Experience of XYZ machine tools and Siemens controls
Experience of using a CMM
Experience of working multi axis (4 and 5 axis) machines
THE HOURS
You will work 8am – 4 .30pm (Monday to Friday)
THE PAY
You will earn a rate of between £13-£15 / hour
