A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with a superb team based in Eastbourne.

This would be on a temp to permanent basis to start (subject to references) immediately.

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rota including:

8.30 – 1.30 Sat and Sun (2 per month)

8.00 – 4.30 weekdays

Working on a virtual ward, alongside a resolute clinical team you would monitor and process new patient referrals daily from patients within a hospital setting. The purpose of this role is to process the patients from the hospital to the system for a personalised care plan to be implemented by a clinician.

Role Responsibilities:

* On the remote hospital system, you look at the patient list throughout the day to pick up new referrals.

* Update the Teams system with this information and allocate to other administrators to be processed.

* Create the patient profile on our internal system called PIMS and complete the referral forms on the system to be able to notify the nurse that the patient is ready for assessment.

* Oversee the patent review list including checking if patients are still on the case load and checking/requesting latest photos for their review.

* Responsible for keeping the Teams handover sheet updated and correct.

* Communicate effectively with the duty nurse throughout the shift to ensure all new referrals and reviews are completed by the end of the day.

* Some additional administration work required at times

Person Spec:

* Experience working in a medical setting either primary, secondary care or dental setting. Familiarity with how a referral and patient list would be desirable, but not essential.

* Experience in prioritising and managing their own workload.

* Ability to work with a high demand of patients.

* Technical ability to work with a number of apps and systems including Teams.

* Good English literacy, reading and writing as well as spoken English.

* Excellent Attention to Detail.

* Experience at working remotely a plus as you will need excellent communication skills to effectively work as a team.
