We are seeking a cleaners to undertake cleaning & Linen Services duties in a health care setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to work in an NHS setting which has patient safety and care at the very heart of its working practices.
The aim of the roles is to provide a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors and to contribute to preventing and reducing the spread of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAIs).
As part of the role, you would be required to communicate effectively with patients, including patients who may have behavioural issues, challenging behaviour or severe communication difficulties, work colleagues and visitors throughout the process of delivery of the service and at all times respecting dignity and confidentiality.
You will:
· Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness, as defined within the National Specification of Cleanliness.
· Clean beds and patient areas to a high standard
· Clean medical equipment not attached to patients.
· Clean ward areas
· Compliance with policies and procedures
Hours of work will be:
Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm (15 hours)
Saturday & Sunday 3pm-8pm (10 hours)
Monday to Friday 4pm-8pm
Monday to Friday 5pm-9pm
Duration of all roles will be 3 months from start date with the possibility of extension.
