Cleaner/Catering Assistant – Wigan

Job Type : Permanent, Part Time, Part Time

Salary : £10.90/hour

PRS are seeking to recruit a Part Time Catering / Cleaning Support Assistant based in Ashton in Makerfield – Wigan. The role is temporary to permanent – based on working 30.5 hours per week – 5 days over 7 as rostered. Paying £10.90 per hour.
 
To undertake general duties, which may vary in complexity, including repetitive tasks
Implement procedure and contract requirements
General House cleaning duties
Be flexible to work outside your normal contracted hours when the requirement arises
To ensure effective team work, communication and relationship.
To have full comprehensive knowledge of Food Hygiene standards: ensuring full compliance to HACCP and catering control systems.
To have full comprehensive knowledge of Domestic and Laundry standards: ensuring full compliance to NHS national standards of cleanliness and Infection control, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standard.
Stock Control- ensuring all stock received is checked off and stored correctly as well as ensuring that there is sufficient stock, to deliver a full operational service.
Health and Safety- Understanding and complying with the company’s health and safety policies and procedures, including Risk assessments and COSHH Regulations.
To undertake training as and when required.
Previous experience in a similar working role
Use of floor cleaning machines
Must be conversant with Health & Safety requirements and would have to attend relevant training courses
Excellent customer service skills
Food Hygiene/ HACCP Knowledge
NHS National Standards of Cleanliness
Previous experience in a similar working role
To be able to work alone or as part of a team
Be comfortable with working unsociable hours
Able to work to tight timescales
Have a flexible approach and be able to work in a proactive manner
Basic Food Hygiene
IOSH Working Safely
Team player with a high level of energy & commitment
