Truly elegant Residential Care Home located in the charming town of Sidmouth, Devon is seeking an experienced chef for maternity cover.

As a chef you will provide Home – cooked nutritious and appetising meals, Pastries and snacks for residents while ensuring good Food Hygiene is maintained at all times.

Are you an experienced chef with experience of Care homes or Hospitals, or schools background?

Are you passionate about cooking and providing exceptional nutritious food?

Do you enjoy producing delicious Home – cooked meal that looks and taste great.

Are you a strong leader and can delegate with prioritising skills and experience of leading a kitchen?

Essential Requirements for Chef

A compassionate and caring nature.
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
Strong management and leadership skills.
Strong organisation and planning skills.
Ability to prepare, cook and present a variety of appetising and nutritious home – made meals.
An understanding of ‘What good looks like’ in terms of the dining and food experience.
Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours.
