Chef
Job Type : Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £14 – £15/hour
On behalf of a local food bank, a registered charity supporting the local community across Spelthorne – we are looking for a temporary chef to work with them.
The purpose of the role is to maximise the use of the daily surplus products received from local supermarkets and reducing overall wastage. Owing to the nature of the role it’s needs to be a chef who can prepare food using the original fresh product, not just from tins or jars etc.. This role will also involve working with volunteers and adults from the community, teaching them how to prepare their own meals where required.
We are looking for this to be filled on a temporary basis initially (1 month) with a review taking place thereafter where discussions about a fix term contract will take place.
* Days of work: Monday to Friday
* Hours of work: 08:00 to 13:00
