Stafffinders are currently on the lookout for dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic Care Home Chefs, for a variety of upcoming temporary jobs in healthcare and care home units across Glasgow and surrounding areas.

Your rate of pay and hours of work

This position offers excellent flexibility and a generous salary of £13-£14 per hour, including holiday pay. Hours of work will vary throughout the week and can be selected to suit each candidate’s own availability.

Responsibilities in your new role

Your daily responsibilities will include efficient meal preparation for dietary requirements, as well as preparing any snacks or beverages throughout the working day to a high standard. As a new Care Home Chef, you will also maintain and replenish all food/kitchen stock whilst cooperating with the team.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We’d love to hear from applicants who have had previous experience within a similar role working within healthcare and care home settings. You will be comfortable working within a fast-paced kitchen and have the drive and determination to learn on the job, whilst always delivering exceptional customer service.

You will be confident in bringing your creativity and new ideas to the table, being a key team player and communicating well with all members of the homes.
