Cad Cam Programmer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £16 – £20/hour Negotiable on experience
Contek are working with a forward thinking progressive company with a modern workshop and operating to AS9100 quality standards. They have a complete workshop including Milling, turning, Wire EDM, 3D printing and grinding.
Role – 4/5 Axis CAD/CAM Programmer
Workshop Technician to program and operate a variety of machines including simultaneous 4 or 5-axis. Parts produced are for specialist equipment as well as high end scientific customers.
Key Skills
▪ Experienced 5-axis machinist using CADCAM
▪ Highly accurate and fast worker.
▪ Mazak and HyperMill experience highly preferred (Similar operating systems considered)
▪ Experience of machining a variety of metals and plastics
▪ Experience of high tolerance work
▪ Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in a clean and organisied work place producing high quality work.
Hours of Work
* Shift pattern 3.5 days on 3.5 days off
* Either Sunday to Wednesday (12:00) or
* Wednesday (from 12:30) to Saturday
* 35 Hour Week, 07:00 to 17:30
