Purpose of the role & how you will contribute:
To work as part of the TB team contributing to the delivery of the NFU’s strategic aim of eradicating Bovine TB. Provide advice, specialist administrative knowledge and support to NFU colleagues and members on a variety of TB wildlife control measures. Support NFU membership service by providing an advisory function to members and other NFU colleagues on TB control and livestock movements affecting individual farm businesses.
What you’ll bring:
With a relevant degree and proven expertise and experience in your specialist area, you’ll ideally have an agricultural background and will be used to working with farmers or food producers. You’ll be an articulate communicator and negotiator with a keen eye for detail and the ability to research, analyse and collate complex issues clearly. With a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, you’ll be comfortable developing successful professional networks. You’ll also be an inspirational and motivational leader and problem solver, with the ability to manage project teams and prioritise your work.

Salary: c.£32,900 per annum, plus company car or car allowance
Working Hours: Core Hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 0900 – 1700. Due to the nature of the role, there will be a need for flexibility around working hours, to include some unsociable hours in the evening.
