Job Description
* Greets and serves customers, promotes coffee consumption by educating customers on coffee types.
* Prepares, serves and sells a variety of hot drinks, along with pastries and cookies. Operates coffee grinding and brewing equipment and accessories.
* Ensures food is correctly and safely prepared in line with the HACCP regulations
* Ensures that standards of service required by the contract are maintained and that work is carried out safely
* Ensures stock is safe from pilferage by maintaining close vigilance, and challenging non-payment
* Manages inventory of supplies to support all stock controls protocols
* Contributes to the team performance of the Catering Department to ensure the provision and maintenance of a high quality, cost effective service with the highest standards of cleanliness
* Operates a computerised Point of Sale system/cash register & adheres to all cash handling procedures.
* Contributes to the development of best practice within the department and ensures the department’s philosophy of quality care and customer service is reflected in practice.
* Ensures compliance with all Food safety requirements.
