Baggage Handler
Job Type : Permanent, Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £12 – £12.50/hour
City Calling / Guardior are giving the opportunity for new people to become baggage handlers at Heathrow Airport.
Ideally you would be working on different shifts, so we are giving the opportunity for you to pick which shift suits you best.
Duties will include:
* Loading & unloading baggage, air cargo, containers & pallets onto carts and / or dollies,
* Delivery of customer baggage to and from aircraft to designated collection/drop off points. You will have good communication skills, follow all processes & procedures carefully and work as part of the team in this fast paced air-side environment.
* Complying with all relevant legislation
* This role involves heavy lifting – up to 32kg.
* Training will be provided.
* You must be able to provide a full and check-able history for the last 5 years.
* You will be subject to criminal record and security checks.
Pay
* The rate will be £12.00 an hour for the first 6 Months
* This will be paid on a PAYE 0 hour contract
