Salary :

Air Personnel are looking for Avionic Designers and Senior Avionic Designers for their client in Oxford.
Our client is starting a brand new project and have several roles on offer and will consider permanent hires and contractors. Contracts will be inside of IR35.
Avionic Design Engineer
Overall purpose of role
To provide design of concept and integration of avionic systems to meet Customer requirements.
To translate proposed concept into detailed design in compliance with Certification requirements, compatible with OEM Type Certificate systems and operational philosophy.
To support the continued airworthiness of approved designs in line with DOA Obligations.
Knowledge and Skills
Aviation background based in the Avionics discipline.
Familiarity with aircraft avionics systems preferably with a rotary bias.
Desirable: working within design / engineering environment with electrical / avionic systems integration.
Working knowledge of:
Equipment qualification process and related standards,
FAR/CS 27 and 29 Certification Requirements and
EASA/CAA Part-21J DOA and MAA DAOS process and practice
Understanding of Aircraft System and Software Safety Analysis processes.
Experience using AutoCad and or Catia V
Experience using Design Lifecycle and Configuration Management Tools
Computer literate in MS Office desktop applications
Other Requirements
Be prepared to travel occasionally within the UK or abroad to support related business requirements.
Possess clear and concise communication skills working at all levels.
Ability to plan and prioritise workload in a dynamic business environment.
Be able to work effectively in cross functional teams.
Be eligible for SC security clearance
