Assistant Project Manager – Ground Clearance

Salary £33,000 – £36,000

Location: Windsor

If you have experience in managing Vegetation Clearance, Forestry or Construction Site works, want to contribute to a growing team and develop your career towards a full Project Managers role, then this is the perfect opportunity!

Role Requirements

You must have some experience with mechanised and manual vegetation clearance and of managing works in the construction industry. Ideally you will have some knowledge of Project Management and be aware of Project Planning and Reporting. You will be computer literate, proficient with MS Office and a good communicator, both written and verbal. You will hold a CSCS card and ideally SMSTS/SSSTS.

Role Responsibilities

You will assist the Senior Project Manager to ensure that projects are managed effectively, completed to specification, on time and within Budget. You will be an important part of the team that write the quotes and tenders that win work for the company. An important part of your role will be to ensure that the company operates safely and complies with H&S regulations and as apart of this you will help to develop and manage H&S systems. You will help to write RAMS and audit the company H&S records.

The company will look to develop your skills and your training will include.

* Learning Project Management, Tenders and Quotations

* Developing your Sales and Communication skills particularly in respect to Client liaison.

Our Client is a Vegetation Clearance Contractor with 35 years’ experience in the tree clearance industry. They have an extensive fleet of plant and equipment as well as experienced in-house operators. They invest heavily in plant and equipment and most importantly their staff’s training and professional development and look to provide an industry-leading service to their clients
