Assistant Project Manager

Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum + Package
Vanbrugh Group are a Specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy who recruit Senior Management staff for our clients.
We have been appointed by one of our clients, a Commercial Interiors contractor based in Central London, for an Assistant Project Manager on a permanent basis.
Our client provide refurbishment and fit out projects within the Interior Fit Out sector including Offices, Healthcare and Educational projects. They have an expanding, dynamic team and due to continued growth they are now seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee upcoming projects which values range from £100K – £3M.
The Candidate:
Experience as a Graduate/Trainee Project Manager for an interior residential or commercial contractor or an Assistant Project Manager looking for the next step in your career
Candidates with a trade background in either Carpentry/Joinery or Drylining who have experience as a Foreman (M/F) or Supervisor looking to progress into Project Management
Enthusiasm and energy with regards to work ethic
A willingness to get things done and be a pro-active member of the team
Experience within the Fit Out sector preferably commercial projects.

Good knowledge of building
Estimating / Tendering Experience
Proven track record for delivering projects
Required Qualifications:
Trade Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) or Academic qualification (BSc/MSc Construction)
Good IT knowledge and proficient with Word & Excel
The salary is based on a permanent annual salary in the region of £30,000 – £40,000 + Package.
This position is available for an immediate start for the right candidate as our client is keen to hire ASAP, however notice periods are taken into consideration
