MC Technical Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Laboratory Manager for a leader in Waste Management solutions and recycling.
Our client operates a range of waste management and state of the art recycling facilities across the UK and seeking an Assistant Manager to manage a team of Chemists and outside operators to support the Plant Manager.
As the Assistant Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for:
Manage, support and train a team of chemists and site operators
Allocate operations, maintenance and admin workloads and ensure best practice is followed at all times
Supporting Plant manager with site management responsibilities
Ensure the site is fully compliant in health and safety and environmental compliance standards
Laise with external contractors and third parties
To be considered for this role you should have:
Supervisory experience in a recycling or laboratory environment
A technical qualification in Chemistry, chemical engineering or relevant subject at HNC, HNC or Degree level
Willingness to work outside when necessary
