Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Invoicing and control of sales
Purchase Invoice analysis and data entry
Petty Cash
VAT – including partial exemptions
Weekly bank reconciliations
Cash balance reporting
Reconciling suspense/supplier accounts
Monthly/quarterly management report production
Year-end routines
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role
Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Strong system and Excel skills
Attention to detail
Able to prioritise workload
Part qualified CIMA / ACCA is desirable
What you'll get in return
£24,000 – £28,000 per annum
23 days annual leave + bank holidays
