Salary : £14.22/hour

An Agricultural Company based in Grangemouth is seeking a Asset Planner to join their team on a contract basis for 6 months initially. (Fully remote, with occasional office visits)

ROLE PURPOSE –

To maintain the detailed FFP supply plans across a defined asset and product portfolio, providing options to meet upsides and downsides. Work within a Tactical Supply Plan agreed with the SCOT and SCP.

ACCOUNTABILITIES –

Co-ordination along the supply chain, Vendor Schedulers and Production to manage the production plan and ex-works shipments over a zero to end current season horizon.
Maintain the overall supply/demand balance through a review of the net demand and the creation of balanced production plans over the current season (up to 13wk horizon).
Manage FFP Supply Plans in a Tactical Supply Plan agreed with the FFP SCP based on capacity.
Ensure the optimisation of on-site inventory of raw materials and intermediates to minimise working capital.
Work with the Regional FF&P Asset Planners to ensure the supply of FFP meets the short term FF&P production plans.
Establish and maintain strong relationships FFP Manufacturing to enable transparency and optimization of capacity usage.
Measure and report production performance to the FFP ROP process
Ensure that all processes throughout the asset operate against CP FPP
Monitor slow moving and redundant stocks and clear blocked invoices
Provide KPIs and other information as required to support the ROP process and escalate capacity issues for resolution where appropriate.

SAP knowledge
Product and manufacturing knowledge
Understanding planning parameters, (master) data management & data integrity
Experience of the key interfaces within the supply chain.

Advanced capacity planning skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Understanding & application of basic IT tools
IT literate

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS AND KEY CHALLENGES –

Work with the FFP SCP to ensure that demands (phasing & volume) are accurately reflected in the planning system and that the demands represent the true needs of the Regional FF&P. The planner will work with manufacturing to ensure that demands can be met as required. If the plans cannot be balanced, the FFP Plant/Asset planner is responsible for developing, agreeing & executing supply alternatives.
Manage the short term changes in ex-works shipment dates and the impact on the Regional deliveries by working closely Order Management and Regional FF&P Asset Planners. ADRs will be issued where appropriate.
Ensure the effective introduction of NPI's.
