Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £70000 – £80000/annum

We are looking for an inspirational Creative Director to join our clients team. You will inspire a talented team, mentoring them and and be part of the exciting journey they are on. You’ll represent the agency in front of clients and at new business pitches. You’ll work closely with your fellow CD’s to drive creative excellence across the client mix, to help deliver transmedia solutions for the base of blue chip B2C and B2B clients.

This is a key senior leadership role as our client builds a creative department that is famous and respected within the industry. You’ll be part of driving transformation and positive change within the creative team. You’ll champion diversity and inclusion within the team and in the work they deliver for their clients. You will inspire your team to deliver stand-out creative and you’ll also be an all-rounder who is able to get stuck in and hands-on in support of your teams when required.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Team leadership:

* Line manage the creative team, enthuse and encourage a culture of creative thinking and innovation, embracing new ways of working across our teams.

* Act as a professional mentor – training and developing your staff, and appraising mentees/direct reports in a fair and consistent manner.

Creativity:

* Create and oversee multi-channel, innovative, effective campaigns.

* Inspire the team to generate outstanding creative work, coaching and mentoring as well as leading by example.

* Work alongside the strategy and client service teams to champion the process of better briefing.

* Ensure that the team’s output is bang on brand, while also pushing clients on.

Communication and Business Culture:

* Responsible for communication within the team, ensuring that key messages are communicated out in a timely and appropriate manner.

* Contribute to the development, realisation and evaluation of broader company and department initiatives.

* Be a role model within the business, ensuring effective recruitment, appraisal, training, development, and communication processes are in place which meet or exceed ITG standards.

* Be aware of and operate within the relevant company policies.

* To actively seek information and participate in appropriate training. To provide appropriate information and ensure suitable training to other staff. Constantly strive towards continuous improvement in all of output/ performance on a team and

* individual basis. To ensure that best practice forms an integral part of operational and managerial practice.

Knowledge, skills, training and experience:

* Must be an outstanding creative in your own right with proven leadership skills

* Multi-platform credentials

* Solid idea generation / conceptual thinking

* Understanding of modern technologies, social platforms, apps and the digital world in general

* Resilience and flexibility

* Ability to exercise sound judgement

* Marketing awareness / audience focus

* In- depth understanding of current marketing principles.

* An awareness of individual client strategy, goals and objectives.

* Proven people management, interpersonal and leadership skills

* Able to demonstrate sound judgement

* Strong planning and organisational skills, decisive decision making
