Location: Cardiff

Salary: £30K-£35K

My client are a leading provider of Large Format Graphics and Signage based in Cardiff who are looking to bring in an experienced Large Format Studio Manager to run the Studio department. This role is still very hands on, so the successful candidate must be happy to be hands on Artworking.

The role:

The Studio Manager is responsible for the overall and efficient running of the Studio department which includes:

Overseeing the timely co-ordination and preparation of client supplied artwork/job cards ensuring the information is technically correct and of the highest quality/accuracy.

Identifying and resolving issues that arise pre-press and prior to print production.

Day-to-day line management and training of studio team colleagues.

Quality checking and auditing of completed work.

Colour management of a variety of digital print equipment.

Working closely with other departments including colleagues within the sales, client services, print production and finishing teams.

Experience

They are keen to speak to candidates who possess extensive experience working in a similar role gained within the large and small format digital print industry.

Technical knowledge gained as a pre-press specialist/senior studio technician

Experience of managing a team.

Expert knowledge of adobe suite, acrobat pro, MS office along with colour/utility Programmes.

Demonstrable experience working with a range of print media

Ability to work under pressure achieving tight deadlines.

Knowledge of graphic design.

3D cardboard engineering.
