Associate Director required to join a busy, AJ100 studio in Manchester city centre.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company in an incredibly prestigious and sought-after role which will include assisting with the management of the studio, leading high-profile projects and working closely with the design team to ensure that their excellent work is continued for the coming years. There is also room for this new hire to work on business development and client generation.

Our client are an established, AJ100 studio with offices strategically located in the South of England and here in Manchester. Their current Senior team have been in-place now for many years and have helped develop the Manchester studio into one of the true powerhouses in the North-West with an excellent, diverse client-base and existing portfolio of innovative residential & Commercial projects scattered across the wider North-West region. The Manchester office is home to between 20-30 experienced Architectural professionals and with a busy end of year and 2023 forecast, they are in the market to continue recruiting the best people to join their thriving business.

You will not be thrown in at the deep and left on your own. Their is an incredibly experienced and helpful team of people around to support you as you undertake this important role. We are looking for an Associate Director to join an Architectural studio in Manchester to undertake the following responsibilities, and more:

Work alongside the existing Management team to maintain company standards within the Manchester studio.
Help to oversee the design team and take a lead in team meetings where required.
Develop and mentor lesser experienced members of the studio.
Take a lead on business development and promoting the Manchester studio.

Ideally, applicants for this Associate Director position will meet [most of] the following criteria:

ARB/RIBA Qualified Architect.
Approx 8+ years post-qualificaion.
Previous experience working in a Senior Architectural role.
Excellent Design capabilities with a portfolio to match.
Previous experience working on Residential or Commercial-sector projects would be most beneficial, but the role is not completely limited to this.
Comfortable in a business development role. Previous experience doing so in the North-West would be highly beneficial.
Excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be receive with a salary in the region of £60,000 per annum alongside a generous benefits and bonus scheme designed to reward and incentivise their senior team.

The company are in a position to arrange interviews at relatively short notice and can be flexible on start-date from late summer through to late of 2022.
