Bennett and Game are acting on behalf on a specialist Industrial Refrigeration company based on outskirt of Leeds City Centre. They specialise in the design of water/glycol pipework systems for industrial systems ready for Project Management tea. The CAD engineer will be responsible for producing design of water/glycol pipework using 2D AutoCAD and maintaining drawing records.
Refrigeration Design Engineer Position Overview
Read technical drawings, schedules, and specifications
Prepare 2D fabrication drawings from sketches or order specifications using AutoCAD
Liaise with engineers to ensure all relevant technical information is accurately documented on drawings
Submit drawings for approval, revise drawings as required.
Maintain drawing register and any relevant schedules or supporting documents
Identify and raise potential issues including tolerance or interfacing problems
Assist product design and development activities including Water/glycol piping.
Refrigeration Design Engineer Position Requirements
Relevant experience within Refrigeration design
3-4 years using AutoCAD
Experience with modelling software would be beneficial.
