Hobs 3D is an interdisciplinary studio creating physical, visual and interactive solutions for clients across multiple industries and functional areas. We offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of 3D services in the world and work collaboratively with our partners to drive their projects towards outcomes that are both well designed and business effective.
We are currently seeking a 3D visualiser to join our Visualisation team based in our London studio. The 3D visualiser will be primarily responsible for delivering Construction CGIs and 4D animations, and also be involved with other projects including property marketing. The visualiser will also have the opportunity to help further develop our interactive, VR and AR solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess the following traits…
Must haves:
High level of modelling, texturing, lighting (3DS Max), rendering (Vray), animating and post-production (Photoshop/After Effects) skills
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate directly with internal, external parties and nurture relationships
Experience creating visualisations from 2D/Autocad/Revit/Navisworks files
At least 2-4 years experience in a production environment
A university degree or equivalent
Attributes:
Excellent attention to detail, flair and creativity
Good time management skills with enthusiasm and dedication to achieve client deadlines
A desire to execute projects efficiently, standardise and automate workflows
Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously, alone or as part of a team
Look to critique one’s own creations, with the view to continually improve so that each visual is better than the previous
Bonus knowledge
Understanding of construction terminology and drawings
Experience with AR/VR workflows – 3DS max to Unreal Engine and/or Unity
Knowledge of game modelling and unwrapping and creating UVs
Photography and drawing skills
