South Coast (Dorset) based up to £40,000 per annum plus an benefits package within a rapidly expanding company.

Do you?

Have experience and are proficient user of AUTOCAD gained within a building / architectural environment.
Have surveying knowledge & experience of designing steel framed or modular buildings
Have knowledge of light steel construction – highly desirable
Have excellent communications skills, written and oral along with strong IT skills, especially in Excel
Have Revit experience – 3 years
Have strong organisational skills
Have the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Have a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and succeed
Have a valid CSCS card
Are you?

Degree level qualified or  HNC/HND will be considered with the right experience / Track Record or equivalent tertiary qualification
Experienced and proficient user of 3D software packages. Products such as Google Sketchup, Photoshop, Inventor, Advance, 3D Max, Solid Works etc. Graphic design experience a distinct advantage
A good negotiator with strong influencing skills
Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
Methodical and diligent in your approach to problem-solving
A team player with strong interpersonal skills
The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to turn the main structural elements of the Lead designers building into a format that is practical to produce by the supply chain.

This with particular regard to cold rolled steel solutions where expertise in suppliers manufacturing capabilities is required. An accurate Bill of Materials is also essential for Purchasing.  The role also requires guiding and managing Product Designers Draughtsman.
